Purge Valve solenoid is stuck open an not getting power I took it to a mechanic and he said it was an electric problem but never checked a fuse. I would like to check myself
It doesn't have a "fuse" specific to the purge valve solenoid. What he is telling you is that you need to have this circuit troubleshot. Either the PCM the wiring going to the purge valve solenoid, or the purge valve solenoid itself is malfunctioning.
This requires a scanner, a digital volt ohm meter and some knowledge of when the purge valve actuates and under what conditions.
The car must be running and operating at cruising speed before the PCM sends a command to the purge valve to operate. Some scanners have the ability to send a request to the PCM to actuate the purge valve, but that scanner is usually a dealer's or equivalent.

A qualified repair shop wil need to check these codes and recommend repairs. a scanner and a manual will be needed for diagnosis.

The purge control is to allow the engine to **** gas vapors out of the charcoal canister that vents the gas tank. It will be in the engine compartment, and you should be able to see the canister as a cylinder about 4 inches in diameter and maybe 8 inches high. Follow the tubing to a valve that goes to the intake manifold. The valve should shut off at idle, but open at higher speeds. There is also a diagram in the engine compartment that shows where it is.

most of the time on nissans the driver window has a seperate relay by itself. look for that. next check for debris in the channels, it is possible that the switch is bad also.
