How to move hands, ?
what tools
im i to guess this is your first spark plug pull even on a lawn-mower?
what engine do you have, 90% posts lack what engine it is on a engine question, and we are still guessing, and nuttn happens.
lets see.you pull HV wires 1 by 1, and replace them using a spark plug socket wrench.
if the engine has COP coils, those come off, first, (do tell got cops)>?
do not mix up the spark wires or it will not run.
why not watch youtube of 10000 doing this on all engines. to get a fell of the ways and means.... simple huh?
only start a spark plug by hand , never use a wrench.
rule1. end.
do not over tighten them (rule 2)
2.4L engine, 4 cylinder??????
this is my guess.
JEEP KJ
ill look that up for you.
ok i looked, the 2.4L uses coil pack
so rule 1 applies, DO NOT MIX the HV wires on the COIL PACK>
remove the spark plug wire from ONE spark plug]
remove the spark plug (turns counter clock wise)
put in new plug (right part number and gap it to spec.
torque it to spec, and put back the wire.
move to next plug wire and repeat.
success.
HV means those high voltage spark wires, that make you glow like a June bug if you get HIT. the 50,000 volt wires.
RE14MCC5 (Champion #) plugs
48 thou gap
but the hood sticker wins this ... not me.... read it.
the 3.7 has 6 cop coils , no signal coil pack.
my 3.8L has coil packs.
so as you can see , each engine is unique, by year and car.
SOURCE: 2003 jeep liberty air bag light on is it easy to fix
The system needs to be checked for cades. Airbag codes are pulled out
of the ECU with the use of a scanner tool. A good auto mechanic shop
will have this or you can go to the dealer. YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO
REPAIR THIS YOURSELF,YOU COULD ACTIVATE THE AIRBAG!!!!!
SOURCE: 2003 Jeep Liberty heater fan problem
It is the blower motor resistor. Look under the passanger side dash and locate the fan housing (looks round and black in color. Then locate the resistor it will be in that housing usually withtwo ten millimeter nuts or two simple screws holding it in. unplug the harness to the resistor and remove the resistor. Part store price is approx. 50.00. Note: on aftermarket (not Jeep) resistor sometimes you have to modify the housing a little to get it in. Hope this helps.

try checking your ignition coils and also the power wires to them!!Hopefully this helps....
SOURCE: How to change spark plugs on a 2003 jeep liberty?
The plugs are probably under the coil packs, You will see a series of wiring harnesses with 3 or 4 wires in each connector that plug into a square or rectangular piece that is usually bolted down to the center of the valve cover(s). You have to remove these and the plugs are under them. Be gentle with the harness conectors and take your time as the underhood temps tend to make them brittle
