The truck is very old, and that type of problem can have many causes on a vehicle of that age:

  1. Poor spark or faulty ignition system;
  2. Fuel delivery issues, such as a bad fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or contaminated fuel;
  3. Loose or slipped timing chain;
  4. Clogged air filter;
  5. Clogged exhaust

SOURCE: 98 chevy s10 blazer turn signal

Unplug the turn signal relay from the fuse box and start you engine. Does it still make that noise?
If yes... Put the relay back in, that is not the problem.
If No...Then the relay could be bad, replace it!

SOURCE: My 1998 s10 2.2 truck will not start

-If the starter is only clicking or it is acting as if the clutch pedal was never pushed down- it is either one two things, (1) the click, click sound may be due to a bad battery connection or bad wire contact to the starter motor. (2) the neutral saftey switch which is attached to the clutch master cylinder on the inside of the vehicle, (under the dash) is deffective or needs adjusting-it is easier to simply replace it., no complex tools are needed for either repair, just a voltmeter to check wire connections on the battery to starter motor, or a small screwdriver driven socket to remove the screws holding the lower part of the dash together (below the steering column)- I hope this was helpful, I ran into a lot of problems after I swapped an engine and rebuilt the transmission on my 98 s10 but I eventually worked most of the problems out.

SOURCE: 98 s10 starts and then dies

How did the water get into the fuse pannel? Was this vehicle a flood victum? Or, just some rain. It kind of makes a difference on what I'm about to tell you. I guess if it was a little water from rain the first thing I would do is check the relays.They are nothing more than little switches ad water can have an effect on them. The points in them could be corroded, weaken the springs, etc. Start there. Then check wire connections for corrosion, and loose or broken wires. Do you have any type of repair manuals? If you can, identify the relays, many times there are several that are the same and you can move them around and interchange them to help you find a bad one. Other wise there are some electrical tests which you can perform on them, but you will need some electrical test equipment. Let me know if this fixes your problem or if you need to know how to test the relays.
If on the other hand this vehicle was flooded, you have a lot of checking to do, starting with the computer. Do you have a diagnostic tester? You may need one.
I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: does a 1993 s10 blazer have an in tank fuel pump

try shooting some starting fluid in the air cleaner then try starting it this will tell you if it is a fuel problem or not.. if it starts sounds like your fuel pump is bad .. try this first this will let you know if it is a fuel problem or something else ..Thanks Jerry and holler if you need more.

SOURCE: leaking clutch 85 s10 blazer

First, unless you have just done some clutch work you should not need to be bleeding the clutch hydraulic system...that shows that it's leaking. There is nothing inside the bellhousing that has anything to do with clutch fluid, so, the fluid you see is either engine or transmission oil (rear main seal or seal on trans input shaft) Could it be that the clutch slave is leaking and it's running down and dripping at the bottom of the housing? (clean it up and check that)

My 85 s10 blazer wont start up at all. battery is good. brand new and tested good. changed the terminal posts also. the lights and everything turn on but when i try to start it, it dont even click or...

could be the ignition switch or the connection wiring. could be the starter or solenoid. if you wanna check your starter, have someone turn the key to try and start it as your underneath and tap/hit the starter with a hammer or a block of wood. of that makes it start then yeah its the starter.
