SOURCE: remove rear door panel on x type jaguar

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

SOURCE: 2000 jaguar s-type driver window will not roll up

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to see the motor, regulator, guide rails

How do i repair the electric window mechanism on my drivers side front door? the glass has dropped inside the door and the cable appears to have snapped off something but i cant see what

The winder mechanism is plastic and prone to snapping. get a new lifter assembly. but keep your old winder motor as this is not included. Remove the door trim - screws in handle and pops around edge,(difficult to get door card past door handle take care) - disconnect elect plugs for speakers and door controls . then push out the plastic pin that connects the drive to the glass frame - awkward job - needs patience and care. hope this helps - good luck.

S Type JAguar Rear Door

First remove all of the screws, some will be hidden under plastic caps, then take a door panel tool (about $5.00 at a parts store) and work it around the panel popping out the plastic keepers. Be carefull and try not to damage the panel where the keepers attach, you can buy new keepers at any auto part store and even Lowe's and Home Depot carry them.

Estate tailgate glass release button

I had the same problem with 2005 estate it used to open when starting the engine but does not unlock at all. The problem is the the sensor on the glass tailgate handle where the wiper arms is. It will cost around £70 from Jagaur themselves as I have just got one.
