It is located behind the driver's side kick panel. You have to remove it, not hard.

SOURCE: Fuel pump will not run, 96 Neon 2.0 SOHC

Personally I wouldnt bother tracing the wire as it is probably not worth your time, and just run a constant 12v from the battery to the relay on like 10ga wire. There is probably a short somewhere in the system which can be a real headache to find.

Also it may sound dumb, but check your fuses, and the fusible links under the hood. Chances are that they are all fine though, especially if you have dash lights.

SOURCE: 87 firebird fuel pump

Remove the exhaust, drop the rear end, remove the fuel cap, and surrounding rubber flange. remove the two hanger straps (be sure to have fuel tank supported so it doesn't just fall out. Remove hoses/electrical connector. Pull tank out, and remove metal lock ring that holds fuel pump assembly in place. Remove fuel pump assembly. Installation is reverse of removal. I have had 7 of these cars, and am currently driving one now. If you have any other questions about it, please ask!

SOURCE: where can i find the fuel pump relay on my 91

The fuel pump relay is located on the engine driver's side of the firewall. It is held by a bracket with two other relays-primary and auxiallry fan. The fuel pump relay is between the 2 relays. It should have a test lead extending from the connector.

Keeps blowing fuel pump fuse. Why?

This normally happens due to short in the wirings.Or if someone has connected a stereo or some other electrical contrivance to the wiring harness (bundle), either under the dash or under the hood.To confirm this unplug the fuel pump wiring connections and insert new fuse. Then start the car and see,if still the fuse blows then its a short in wiring. But if the fuse does not blows then its faulty fuel pump relay or faulty fuel pump itself. So first replace the fuel pump relay and see,if the fuel still blows then its faulty fuel pump. But if the fuse not blowing then relay was the faulty part. The fuel pump relay located on the fuse box under the hood.---------This troubleshooting tips will help you locate the fault and solve it.-------Thanks.Helpmech.

1995 pontiac firebird ,I replaced fuel pump ,fuel pump relay ,the only way i can get fuel pump to run is unplug relay put jumper wire across terminals from red to gray wire, then i have good fuel pressure...

Your OIL Pressure Sensor Serves as A Protection Device Along with its Primary Purpose, If It Sesces NO OIL PRESSURE >> (Or it Malfunctions) It WILL NOT Provide the GROUND that the FUEL PUMP RELAY Or Fuel PUMP REQUIRE to Turn ON the Fuel PUMP, To Check this Disconnect the Sensor and LOACTE the KEY ON POSITIVE WIRE of the 3 WIRES on It>> K THIS WIRE DO NOT BOTHER it Identifie it & MARK IT)) and Use the Other 2 Wires>. JUMPER Wire Accross the 2 Remaining Wires on this Sensor PLUG This Should Cause the Fuel Pump RELAY to CLICK Thus GROUNDING the Relsy Allowing it to Provide ground Resulting in POWER to FUEL PUMP. If This Jumper Procedure Works REPLACE the 3 Wire OIL SENDING UNIT Some have 2 an you ONLY NEED the 1. I am Sure this Has and WIll Give you MORE INSIGHT On this System and Help you get it Running. Have a GOOD DAY !!
