1995 ford contour 2.0 L turns over but wont start put in new fuel pump and filter and still wants to start but wont what should i check now ?

you have to check the fuse to the injectoirs as well as fuse to fuel pump start there they are under the hood in road fuse box

Since you say you are not getting fire, have you actually checked for spark at the plugs ?
If so and you have no spark, you would need to check for voltage and a ground signal at the coil next.

Have you ever heard of testing before replacing parts ? Fuel pressure an flow tesing , testing the electrical circuit for the fuel pump , amp draw testing , voltage drop testing etc... Thier are no magical fixes in auto repair . No spark ! check B+ voltage an ground circuits for the ignition system , Ignition System Designs Operation and Testing an SD Premium video

recheck the battery and connections new doesnt mean free from defects or loose connections if battery good check and test the starter --as to fuel filter and pump if it turned over and did not start you could consider putting them in the equation but yours car in not turning over

Have you changed the fuel filter.

Your pump may be priming but the pressure could be against a clogged filter.

You might want to check the fuel pressur at the rail.
It might be a fuel pressure regulator problem

a new fuel filter if the old one is plugged up solid
Computer
By chance did you check the computer for any fault codes? If any stored it will tell you what the problem maybe

I would first replace the fuel filter. If it still wont start check all your fuses. If still won't check your fuel pump.

what exactly is it doing, does the starter turn the engine over? if that is ok what is the fuel pressure reading? do u hear the pump running?

The most common failed start is ignition spark, usually forgot to hook it up, this is controlled by the ignition module and the crank sensor, second most common is fuel. Has your mechanic fixed it yet? if not check the three basics- air-fuel-fire, one them is missing.

This to me sounds like it could be the fuel pump but first I would check the simpler solution and make sure your alternator is good because if your started turns over fine but the car wont start the next part to check would be for me the alternator.
