Make sure there are not other burned out bulbs in the light circuits.

Also check that the socket is properly connected to ground. The electricity needs to flow through the bulb to the chassis/ground.

Check power at the connector to the bulb using a 12vdc probe or multimeter - if OK, then try a different bulb. If not OK, check the connector at the headlight lens.

My left front blinker flashes quickly. - The left

Check for power at the socket. If there is no power I would suspect the flasher relay wich supplies power to each bulb individually after it gets the right or left signal from the switch.

Front left turn signal doesnt work

The turn signal circuit is different from the parking lights. So the headlights would not be involved.
You should have power on one side of the bulb for parking lights and the other for turn signals.
If you have no power for the turn signal circuit, I would look at the turn signal switch. It powers each bulb separately.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee..tail ligts and blinkers do not work when headlights are on..they work otherwise..another problem when headlights or running lights are on and I use left blinker, it blinks...

mporteous, It sounds like you have a light switch problem. I can't think of any other reason for the running lights and tail lights not working in this situation. Are your brake lights working when the headlights are off and how about when they are on? Do your four ways hazard lights work in these situations? Try all the lights under these conditions. The reason the left turn signal blinks very fast is because one of the bulbs are burned out. Try the left signal and one light (front or back) will stay on and the other will not come on at all. Replace the bulb that does nothing. Do this before you try all the lights in different situations. I think that you will have to replace the light switch. Good luck with this.

How do i remove a headlight to on gmc yukon to put the bulb in

Hello,

To replace the headlight bulb of Your 2007 gmc yukon is not that difficult, please follow the steps below.
  1. Turn off the car,
  2. Remove the negative terminal head of the battery in order to avoid shock when working on the headlight,
  3. Pop hood open,
  4. Remove all and any self tapping screws along radiator area.
  5. You should be able to pull whole headlight housing area forward a few inches, you'll need this to see what you're doing.
  6. you have to cut through the rubber lining behind headlight.
  7. From there you can reach the bulb,
  8. Replace it with a new bulb,
  9. Reverse the process to reassemble the headlight back on.
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

How to remove head light in 2006 dts cadillac. how many screws is holding it in.

ok, In this New of a vehicle there are no screws holding the headlight in if you just need to replace a headlight because it is burned out. Look at the back of the light where the wires attach and you should see the wires going into what appears to be a coupling. Get a hold of that and turn. After it unlocks you can remove and replace the bulb. If you are replacing the Headlight assembly because it was damaged there are typically 2 long scews on the top front that appear to be adjsutment screws and 2 smaller ones in each side, again on top. Good Luck

2007 air filter replacement

The headlight assembly is accessed from inside the fender well. There are two pop out plastic rivets and a small (4mm? head) body screw that secure the fender liner to the fender. Those need to be removed. Pull the fender liner back enough to work your arm into the fender. Locate the wiring to the headlight and grasp the plug. Rotate it to the left until the bulb is free of the reflector. Pull the lamp and wiring out from behind the fender liner. Remove the bad bulb. There is a release tab on the plug. Insert the new bulb into the plug. DO NOT touch the bulb glass. The oil from your skin can cause the bulb to explode when it gets hot. Hold the plug and work the bulb and wiring back to the original position. It is a little easier to look through the headlight lens as you work the bulb back into the reflector. Turn the plug to the right until it is properly seated. Replace the two pop out rivets and the body screw.

You should replace the headlights in pairs. I didn't and the right bulb went out in a couple more weeks when the weather was much worse. The right bulb was more of a pain to replace than the left, probably because I am right handed.

Hope this helps.
