I would consider using air to blow water out of all electric comnectors esp around fuse box and alt even temove batt cables and clean or remove mostire

possibly the dimmer switch on the floor? happened on my 91 half ton dims didnt work but brights did and then they cut out altogether. a little water goes a long way

YOU CAN SPEND ALOT OF MONEY AND NEVER GET NOWHERE ON THIS. BUT TAKE IT TO A DEALERSHOP AND HAVE A DIAG. DONE ON IT. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A COST AND WHAT PARTS NEEDED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GUESSING AT IT AND THROWING AWAY MONEY DOING SO.

This is plain and simple, a grounding issue. Poor design on electrical grounds in this vehicle. You will find the ground connections on the driver-side radiator frame top. My "event" happened during a poring rain storm. I also found that this fault "LOCKS" the shift lever. Once you put it into park, your basically locked in park without taking the shifter apart. The engine would run but, could not place the car into drive. Dash lights and instruments go crazy - no wipers. This fault is especially common to the "rust belt" area of the country.
I'm trying to find the same problems happen to my 06 crysler pasifaca and I checked the ground on tire wall its good and all wires good so what eked can it be?
