If you have fuel coming out of the lines when you are cranking the engine then your fuel pump is working. You should only get a small burst of fuel when you first turn the key on and then nothing while the key is on, the ECU only tells the fuel pump to turn on when cranking and when it can see cam and crank sensor signals while the engine is running. The small burst of fuel you may or may not have experienced is only to prime the fuel rails. To test your injectors, you can buy what is called a "noid" light. They have them at most stores that have a good tool/automotive section, such as sears. You unplug one injector with the engine off, plug the noid light into the injector connector (harness side going to injector). Then start or crank the engine over and see if you can see the light pulse on and of very fast. You may need two people due to limited visibility while cranking the engine. Repeat this for the rest of the injectors. If you have an "ohm" meter, you can ohm check the injectors by disconnecting each one and touching the pins inside the connector cavity on each injector. The ohm reading should read between 5-20 ohms. I hope this info helps!

SOURCE: There is no power in

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my understanding, there are two (2) ignition relays; 1 with 4 pins (B157 in the Relay Block) and the 2nd with six pins B47.

The 2nd relay is responsible for the injector +12 supply through the yellow/blue wire.  Its is supplied through a black/red wire coming from a 30 Amps fuse in the Main Fuse box.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

SOURCE: 1997 subaru Impreza sport won't stay running . stalls after minute replaced Fuel pump, filter spark plugs wires ,cleaned injectors checked fuel pressure what next

check your grounds. I find many easy fixes by cleaning all the grounds around the engine bay. I would also check the ground at the fuel pump connector that wiring is prone to corrosion and breakage

87 chevy s10 blazer 2.8 has power to all related components but no spray from injectors cranks but wont start

Use a noid light or other tool for checking the injector pulse is present.

If injectors have a pulse when the engine is cranked the reason there is no spray is there is no fuel pressure - fuse, relay, pump, wiring, pipework, filter. Water in the fuel tank is also a possibility.

If there is no pulse it could be crank or cam sensor, fuse, wiring or even the ECU.

What causes o low injector pulse

Is that static pressure with key on, engine off? Or engine running pressure? Both should be near 60, usually key on, engine off pressure will be about 3 or 4 psi higher.
If it runs good after starting, the injector pulse must be good. No reason why starting and running pulse should be different. Only difference is when running, fuel pump power is kept on by the oil pressure switch, whereas in starting, the fuel pump relay keeps the pump on. Very unusual, let us know. Measure voltage at one of the injector's power wire with key on. It should be battery voltage or very close.

My 1994 gmc Sonoma will only start up if I spray starter fluid in it an then it will cut right back off. What's wrong with it?

Which fuel system do you have, spider fuel system or tbi? Check for proper fuel pressure. Check fuel injector pulse.

If you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems. Any applicable trouble codes? If computer doesn't see an rpm signal, no injector pulse, no fuel.

I can't rule out a problem with ignition module, but, there could be other issues?

Cant gas to go through injectors

injector pulse is conrolled by the computer and the spark is controlled by the inghtion mudule. even though the spark is happening the computer gets it's pulse information for the inghtion module too. So the ingtion module ( in the distrubutor ) can be bad on the injector circuit. If the fuel pressure is too low the fuel won't flow either. On Vortec engines the fuel pressure has to be 50 PSI or higher or it won't even start. The throttle body engines have to have 20. If not the fuel pumps hose inside the fuel tank may have a whole in it so the pressureized fuel from the pump just leaks back into the tank as the pump is in the tank. This happens alot. The injectores ( in the throttle boby) ( you did'nt mention the engine in yopurs) should have power on the one wire with the key on. The other wire should have a pulsing ground as the engine is cranked. To test this, connect a test light to the battery positive and the pointer to the wire and crank the engine if the light flashes the circuit is good and if the power is good this circuit is'nt the cause of your problem. On the throttle bobvy engines theirs a tap in the fuel line going to the the throttle bady near the back of the intake. a pressure gauge can be connected here to check the pressure. some don't have this fitting and you have to remove the fuel filter and put a tee connection wher the filter was and check the pressure there,. The fuel filter is inside the frame rail on the drivers side 1/2 way down the side on the truck, towards the center of the truck. Fuel pressure is a common problem.

1998 Isuzu Amigo is getting no gas to the injectors, fuel is present at the injectors, node lights are indicating no pulses at the injectors, ECU checks out to be good, spray fuel in the intake and it...

Just because there is fuel at the injectors doesn't mean there is any fuel pressure. You need to check your fuel pressure and if is low or non-exisitant then you either have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

No injector pulse, no current to the injector

Check the pickup in the distributor as this is the cam sensor. The injectors run of the pulses created while the rotor is turning around. It should be a plastic disk located under the rotor button.
