first thing to try is have a transmission service done, it is taking it a long time for the pump to prime up and build pressure and a clogged filter can cause that.

Real easy. Go to the MB dealership, proceed to the parts department give them the VIN of your car(I used my insurance card) ,they type in your VIN, few seconds... they hand you over a post-it w/ your code.
Go to your car punch in the code and make sure you press OK.
