It just quit working with in the last couple of days. I had been having trouble stalling when slowing down for stop lights. I look at the diagram for the fuses and nothing matches cruise control.
The IPM -- refers to the integrated power module under hood (fuse box) Fuse #36
I tried looking for that diagram, I couldn't find it, anywhere. Mitchel said fuse 24--30 amp and that fuse circuit goes to the pcm. I realize mitchel could be wrong? Not trying to argue.

Do your brake lites work? If not, fix them first, then see if the speed control works. I did look at the speed control wiring diagram, as far as fuses, you out of luck.
You have the steering wheel control-- wiring circuit--computer--brake switch.
The trouble codes I saw for speed control were voltage too high or too low-- circuit open or shorted. Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for you.

I always check for codes, even if the lite isn't on. i've had inactive codes point me in the right direction.

did you chech relays the are located under the hood in a black box it should say fuses only buy on relay at a time if the are see thru you can tell if they have a break in them or use a tester the big black square relays you cant see thru just buy one and check each relay until your problem is fixed also check your fluid level in your trans too much is a big problem and might cause hard shifting but it sounds like a relay switch

Have you recently had any brake work done? I had a 05' freestyle that did the same thing.. when you tap the brake the cruise kicks off right? so if your brake pedal is sticking or not returning fully to the up position, the cruise will immediately kick off like you applied the brake. Check to see if your brake lights are staying on when you release the brake. Let me know what happens, please and good luck.

when it comes to fuses, take a look in your owners manual to see specifically what fuses do what. Because some fuses will be used to protect several circuits and the fuse panel cover will not tell you all of them.
