SOURCE: the anti lock light has just come on in my 1990
Just an indication that a sensor has probably gone bad, and thus the sysem has defaulted to "off". You can test this, of course... Find a safe place, accelerate to 50 MPH. Hit brakes as hard as you possibly can press them.

these car have problem with abs pump leaking, check to see if you have enough brake fluid. the pump is on the left side front of engine compartment

Check the code by looking at the blinks of the computer under the passenger seat with the key on. To clear the codes take the ALT.SENSE fuse (7.5 A) out of the box to the rear of the battery. I have had the front O2 sensor go out and the light would go on when I was going over a mountain pass.

hi you will have to ask the previous owner for this or take it to a main dealer, there are unlocking code programs, but you will have to supply the serial , the make and model of the unit before anyone may be able to help you, but i think you as the owners that had it before or its a dealer visit...hope this helps

for your srs light this is no joke this is telling you your air bags are not going to function properly in an accident or not at all...... chances are your clock spring in the steering wheel is broke.. have you replaced or had the rack and pinion replaced? thank you good luck. but def have it looked at asap.
