you need to reset alarm/immobiliser.lock car with remote, hold button down for 30 secs,then press/hold down unlock button,should reset.another way is with key in ignition/turned on, press alarm button down and hold for 30 secs.this resets immobiliser.toyota
systems vary..depending on market.
put the key in the drivers door lock and lock and unlock it three times. make sure all door, hood and trunk are completely closed before doing this.

Simple fix... Just replace the brake light switch. It is located on the brake pedal arm about 6 inches above the pedal, it will have a plug going to it as well.
under the steering column on the left there is a fuse box there are three metal fuses larger than the normal fuse...there is a tiny hole it is the reset button for the theft detection...check the manual...should be around page 194 i think...you just stick a pin into the hole and should reset.you migt need the alarm code to release the lock on te engine.depends on what type of alarm it has installed...
