This switch, located in the overhead console switchbank, is used for opening and closing the power rear quarter windows. Press the textured part of the switch to open the windows; both windows will open. The windows will continue to open as long as the switch is pressed, until they are fully opened. Press the part of the switch with the symbol to close both windows. The windows can be closed fully or partially, depending on how long the switch is pressed.

SOURCE: low beam headlights not working on 2004 Pontiac Montana extended

You headlight lamp have a diffuser mechanism which allows it to flip between the hight beam and low beam feature of the bulb. In fact, you high beam will function even if the low beam is not working.

I would recommend the purchase of the new headlight lamp. It would cost you you any where from $15.00 per unit to get a replacement lamp

SOURCE: My 1999 pontiac montana rear sliding power door will not work

I went to bulldogsecurity.com and looked up the wiring diagram for this vehcle. However, prior to checking this part, I would check to see if you have a blown fuse. It doesn't hurt and only takes a few minutes. There should be a fuse for that either somewhere on the side of the dash or near the brake pedal area. If not it may be under the hood, but it should be inside the vehicle. You may have multiple fuse boxes. If it has (2) sliding doors it will have a wire for the auto doors in each kick panel (under the plastic trim/molding) when you open the door and look down you will see all of the trim/molding it should snap out or may be held in place with a screw or (2). Once you remove that you should see the wires. It says for the left side it is either light blue or black and the right side is definitely light blue. Trace this wire until you find out where it ends (the motor or switch to control the auto doors) Then test the switch/motor to see if it is bad.

SOURCE: 2002 pontiac montana passanger pwr window

I beleive you need to change the Power Window Switches Module in the drivers side door panel, as these connections are interlinked within this module and it is usually the first part that fails. Especially that you already changed the switches & motor in the passenger door and it still does not work. Once you remove the dual switch module in the driver's side door, you will understand what I mean. Plus it is really easy to access. Good luck! I have the same model, Claude

SOURCE: 2006 pontiac montana rear windows not working

Hi, Check the ground wires and also check switches wires to and from the doors. Check fuse pannel for bad fuse. To check these items use a digital volt/ohm meter.

I have a 2004 pontiac montana mini van and a red light came on it looks like a broken egg and the parking break light comes on with a ! what does this mean??

a door is open or rear hatch or the connection from the panel itself to the switch is not making the connection completely ..these things occur after a period of use as they wear it may even be the gas door ajar or the hood switch its letting you know something is not making a proper connection as well check all the fluid levels for proper sufficiency levels and make sure the parking brake pedal or lever is fully disengaged

2004 pontiac montana power rear hatch will not open

chances are that the rear door latch is seized and will have to be taken apart oiled to free up the mechanism. to get it open you will have to go through the inside and there will be a round plug to pop off. this will allow you to force the door to open. I have fixed many vans with same problem
