I'll begin by saying I'm surprised there isn't a 3rd belt on a bench seat, but I think you are entering dangerous territory. There is an immense amount of engineering, testing, and development involved in seat belt systems. They are anchored very securely at points that are reinforced and designed to withstand a human body being thrown against the belt, transferring the energy to the anchors of the belts. So, besides being beyond the scope of being possible to install by your average mechanic, I shudder to think of the legal angle. If u were to be involved in an accident, and someone was injured or worse in that seat wearing the added belt, the lawsuit possibilities are scary. Having said all this, check with your local dealer, maybe the Durango is set up somehow for an extra belt, but I've never heard it before.

1, Disconnect the able from negative terminal of the battery.
2. Pry the courtesy light from the door trim and disconnect the wire connector..
3. Remove all door trim panel retaining screws and door pull armrest assemblies.
4. Remove the door switch panel and the control switch panel and the control switch assembly.
5. On models with memory seats/mirrors, use small-flat bladed pry tool to remove and disconnect the wire.
6. Grasp the trim panel lift up and pull out to detach it from the door. Disconnect the inner door handle lock rod from the handle. Unplug any electrical connectors remaining and remove the door panel.
7. To install, connect the wire harness connectors and place the panel in position in the door. Press the trim panel down into place until the hooks are seated.
8. Install the armrest/door pulls, the courtesy light and the window switch'
9. Reconnect the battery


Also. You will need star pattern drivers to remove the window and motor from your door. If you have all the equipment it should only take you 1 hour.

I can give you generic info on how door panels are fastened and removed. I hope this helps. The outer perimeter of the panel is held in place on the sides and bottom by push-in fasteners that match holes in the door frame. These fasteners have button heads that attach to the back side of the panel, and the have ribbed shafts which are pushed in to the door frame holes. There are screws and/or bolts that secure the door arm rest and door handle molding to the frame. In some designs the screw head are concealed by small buttons, or by a piece of molding plate that pops out.
First step is to locate and remove all these screws. Next step is to place a screw driver at the edge of the door panel, between the panel and door frame and pry the panel away from the frame. There is a trim tool that is made for this task (relatively inexpensive) that you can purchase at the local auto parts store. The sides and bottom of the panel are popped away from the frame. After sides and bottom are loose, the top is released by pushing up to release the upper window molding from the frame. Be careful of wiring on the back side of the panel (electric windows, locks, etc.) Unplug all electric before you remove the panel totally.
Those nylon fasteners tend to break when the panel is removed, but they are replaceable (again, at your auto store). Just take one with you to match it up.

REMOVAL - SHOCK ASSEMBLY
NOTE: Access for the nuts attaching the rear shock assembly upper mount to the vehicle is through the inside of the trunk.

Roll back carpeting on top of the rear shock tower to access shock mounting nuts.
Remove plastic cover from the top of the shock assembly.
Remove 2 nuts attaching the shock assembly upper mount/spring seat to the shock tower.
Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly from the vehicle.
Remove two fasteners holding the splash shield to the shock assembly upper mount.
Remove bolt attaching shock absorber to rear knuckle (Shock Absorber Attachment To Knuckle).
Remove the shock absorber from the rear knuckle first when removing the shock absorber from vehicle by pushing down on the rear suspension.
Move shock assembly downward and tilt top of shock outward, then remove shock assembly from vehicle through top of wheel opening
