Get a helper. Fill the master cylreservoir with brake fluid. have helper push brake peddle to the floor and hold it. crack bleeder at the farthest brake caliper from the master cyl. (right rear) close bleeder screw let brake peddle up for about 10 sec. repeat until u get nothing but fluid from bleeder. Don't forget to check reservoir level regularly. If u let it run dry u get to start all over again.
sounds like u have over fill the tranny with fluid,Transmission fluid is checked while the vehicle is running and in park let the motor/transmission heat up to normal operating temp.pull dip stick and see where the fluid is, it should be right around the full mark, just as long as it is in the hash marks on the dip stick is fine NEVER CHECK TRANNY FLUID WHEN IT IS COLD OR ENG IS NOT RUNNING on automatic tranny this will result in a in false reading. If u have over filled it u have to drain some of the fluid out this is a messy job put a large contaner like a tub for draining oil from the eng.trnny's do not have drain plugs sooo u have to very carfully unbolt the oil pan not all the way though just a enough to let some fluid drain out,u might have to use a small flat blade screw driver to pry lose the oil pan Becareful not to damage the gasket, when u go to retighten the bolts, tighten them figer tight then about a quarter turn with a wenrch do not over tighten this will cause a weak,,hope this helps
The transmission fluid is added in the transmission dipstick tube, while the engine is running. Use a funnel that's not going to flip over when it gets full. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
you either have to fill it through the transmission dip stick if it is equipped with one, or you need tho crawl under the car and look at the side of the transmission and you should see a plug looking bolt which you will have to remove and fill through there till it runs out that plug hole
Had the same problem on my 1999 cirrus lxi. Replaced the output speed sensor on the tranny and topped off the tranny fluid... cleared the check engine light and the cirrus ran great. Caution...the output speed sensor reqires removal of the front left tie and plastic weatherproofing to replace. once you find it's locvation, the replacement is relatively easy.
