I cant thin of a good reason to perform a "fuel pump reset" if there were such a thing?
Understand, the fuel pump is simply a tiny motor in the fuel tank that pushes gasoline out for the engine to use. It has no memory, no settings, or adjustments (for the most part, some newer ones do regulate w a duty cycle, but the pump is still a simple motor).
If you are having problems with starting or acceleration and it may be fuel related, the best thing you can do is get it scanned and or tested mechanically by a technician with access to an enhanced BMW scantool.
As to the fuel pump reset, there really isnt such a thing...fuel pump;s always work with the kjey and engine rpm UNLESS something breaks, or the alarm/theft system disables fuel. Thjere are no fault codes that turn off the fuel pump on your vehicle, so no memory to erase to ruen it back on or change its operation.
There is no "reset" on the fuel pump.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned. To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required. Click this link below and follow the troubleshooting:------ http://technoanswers.blogspot.in/2012/02/car-starting-issues.html --------- This will help.
