How do you remove the headrests. I have seen many answers on there is a hole or button some where but not on this car.

GM headrests are essentially the same. Lower the seat as low as possible to allow enough headroom to remove the headrest. Next raise the headrest, push in the exposed button on one side of the 2 headrest pins that go into the seat. Notice on the other pin is a button that is flush to the plastic hole cover. Raise the headrest to its maximum height. Examine the plastic covers the headrest posts stick out of. You are looking for a slide button or a pin hole on the side of the mounting hole.
If there isn't a release button or pin hole they are under a trim cover.
With a small flat screwdriver gently lever the small round cover upwards. This should reveal the release trigger.
If there is no slide button, look for a pin hole on the side of the mount. Unfold a paper clip and insert it into the pin hole. You should hit resistance, move the headrest and paper clip around and the headrest should release and slide out.

Most headrests have a spring clip as the safety latch. If there is no visible push button there will be a hidden release latch. Carefully examine both plastic caps the headrest posts sit in. Look for a pin hole. If there is no pin hole the caps are 'push on' covers. They should lever off and reveal either a push button or a pin hole.
With the pin hole, insert an unfolded paper clip to release the locking spring.

Tracy, Some just pull straight up and out, there may be a pin hole, lever or button just under head rest which will release and allow head rest to be pulled up or pushed down, it does take some force as they do like to get stuck.

Just removed them on a 2005 Sebring sedan. Easier with two people but one can manage just fine. The trick is a tiny hole in the plastic "sleeves" that the metal posts on the headrest slide into. You'll need a small poking device-Allen wrench, drill bit, tiny screw driver, whatever. The hole is on the right side of the right side sleeve on each headrest (as you're sitting in the back seat facing forward) and is perpendicular to the direction the metal rods go into the sleeves. Insert your small poker and depress the plastic button on the other plastic sleeve simultaneously while your helper pulls up on the headrest.

Neither of the answers are actually correct.
Yes you need to press the button PLUS use a number drill or similar in the little hole on the opposite headrest leg @ the same time. The headrest will come out very easily when you do bothe these things @ the same time.

At the top of the seat where the headrest posts go into the seat, there may be buttons that you have to press to release the headrest. On some models, it'll require you to insert a paperclip into a hole on the plastic to release the headrest.

When you lift the headrest to the up position on the plastic sleves at the bottom of the metal rods for the headrest you should find a small hole on one side.Take a small pin or nail and push in the hole and lift up that will release the headrest
