you can disconnect the wiper motor from the harness by just removing the plugs don't have to worry about a fuse.

Behind Headlamp remove wiring clip and tape it off. At the same time tie off the water pipe. That'll do the job quickly. Otherwise removing the whole wiper system isn't a big job.

SOURCE: 2000 S40 Volvo - main

Usually, if the windshield wipers do not park at the right spot, then it's the motor itself, and not the switch. The switch just supplies power to the motor, and the switch also sends a position resistance to the motor.

So, if the problem is that the main wipers are working intermittently, it's not a fuse, it's not the switch, it's the motor assembly, which will have to be replaced to fix this problem.

Good luck on this repair.

What is the relay location in the relay box

The problem would be in the stalk controller. The wiper Relay is what provides power to the motor for all settings, the delayed wipers, low speed, and high speed. There are not 3 relays, but 1 for all functions. If you have power to the high setting, the relay is working.

How to find and check wiper relay on 2000 intrigue

03 Ascender but what is and Intrigue? (apples and oranges, diffr)
built at:
GM Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kansas,
2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue in wrong forum, my guess.
why not post the symptoms first. dead on all speeds, and does
it have the intermittent option?
why assume there is a relay?
would not the fuse be first.? if dead?

wiper not washer is FUSE WPR 25amps.
does the wiper work on WASH mode, 1 swipe. (trick 1)
does the wiper run on any speed? (sop)
no and no.the fuse is blown
to test fuse, use a voltmeter.
Keyon
12vdc on both sides of WPR fuse, is a good fuse. no lies, no guessing. fuses that look blow are blown but some that look ok
are in fact blown (due to hairline cracks only mini mouse can see)

there IS NO RELAY. soRRY, i can add one if you like (LOL)

here it is.

Wipers do not work in intermittent position. They do work in low and high speeds but do not automatically return to the park position. They stop wherever you turn the switch off.

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.
I hope this helps you
