To much load may be on battery try a larger amperage battery or a dual battery set up with one primary for starting, is it cranking over and not starting, or just not turning over? you may also need an alternator with a higher out amps output also to charge adequately.

SOURCE: I was putting in speakers and amps and the battery went dead put a charger on it and it will not start. I want to know if I blew something out

Hi, well anything is possible, but as an old installer here are some things to check. First, depending on the size of your charger, it will take a few hours to get enough. Charge to start your vech. You might try jump starting it, or if possible, take your batt. To the local auto zone or equiv. And have them charge and check your batt. If you have an aftermarket. Alarm, that could be engaging. The starter kill.

My battery went dead and after i charged the battery the air conditioning does not cool

What happens is, you have a battery and an alternator. The alternator charges the battery when the engine is running. It can only put out so many amps at 12 volts. A/C compressor runs off the engine, but the clutch for it is electric, and the blower fan is electric. When these are running, unless the car engine is running at above idle RPM's, your alternator may not be actually putting out enough amps to run the A/C AND charge the battery. So it is possible for the battery to go dead, especially if you start the car more than a couple times with out letting the battery charge. It happened to a friend of mine. He delivered newspapers, and it was a hot summer day. His A/C was on, plus, his car had 2 electric fans for the radiator. He was only idling along delivering his papers, and at one point he shut his car off. When he went to re-start, it was dead. He called me and I gave him a jump start, and told him to go for a ride down the expressway, to charge his battery. You see the A/C took say 30 amps, then each cooling fan for his radiator took say 20 amps a piece, then add in the stereo, and the power it takes to fire the spark plugs, and there wasn't enough left to charge the battery. Most cars these days only have 100 amp alternators. Older cars have less

Suzuki wagon r+gl check engine light keeps flashing and wont start after battery change

the engine (there are more than one engine)
has a distributor.
"have spark at coil down to dizzy but no spark at plugs"
this can mean only 2 things.
1: spark wires are dead. all 4, kinda hard to believe huh?
2: the dizzy is way off time. so time the dizzy and now spark
lands on each wire term.
if not a dizzy engine, post exact version of engine and country.

the alternator may of went bad and stopped charging so the car died when the battery went dead. Charge the battery and test to start with. Are you saying wont turn over ot turns over and wont start. If it turns over and wont start then it could be several things. Will need to get it diagnosed to be sure

Engine wont start

The mechanic should check on the connection of the wires to the battery and the ignition system . Because of may be there is a wire that have been accidentally been disconnected. When you remove the the speaker box , and the amps out of the car.Check the wires , the fuses and the ignition switch and the ignition switch wires and fuses. It is because when you place the amps and the speaker box ,May be there is a wire that you accidentally disconnected that's why it wont start. When you place back all the equipment to the car.
