P1684 usually means that the battery has been disconnected, or an electrical short.
P1601 is a transmission code

I get engne code p0300 what does that mean and what do i do already changed plugs and wires
check the coil, Normally when that code comes up its followed by more, as in P0301 02 03 , which would indicate which cylinder is being effected, P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected is what the code means and any of these could effect that code being thrown
  • Faulty spark plugs or wires
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector(s)
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages

First take to your locial parts store the will check the meaning of your codes, for free, If no codes come back up you need to reset your ecm " Computer" good luck to you.

I have a dodge grand caravan 03 rear drum brakes are knocking did not knock before i changed them.
knocking or grinding usually means you snapped or streched a spring during installation or maybe it just poped off hopefully this helps

Check engine comes on in my 03' dodge caravn with about 80,000 miles. it has had regular oil changes, though it's been roughly 30,000 miles since i've changed the air filter.
