Check the fuses and relays.
Check for unplugged or loosely plugged in wiring connectors.
Does the radio work or not work. If it works then it is only power to the CD unit -- if you can pull the cd unit out -- take to auto radio shop to check it out -- if you are not able to pull it or or do not want to -- to auto to the radio shop.

It is only the cd player not the radio. Our cds are stuck. And can not play or eject or allow us to insert cds. .

SOURCE: lincoln navigation dvd

On my '06 Navigator the navigation dvd goes in a slot on the console to the left of the passenger's feet. There's a removable panel.

On a side note... does anyone have a newer dvd for Canada? The one that came with my vehicle is compile for the Quebec (*gasp*) market and is outdated.

SOURCE: 2005 Lincoln Navigator. Message says to Check

Most likely the problem you are experiencing with the park assist is a fault in one of the sensors mounted in the rear bumper. I would not consider it to be a major fix, however there will be a few hours labor involved as the bumper cover needs to be removed to replace the sensors.

Why doesn't 6-disk CD player accept CDs?

Could be loaded with CD's already. Or some use a Navigation disk and may not load until the Navigation disk is in place. Another Expert may have more to say about this.

When you say something was put in ---you mean
by a dealer-- that can not resolve any Lincoln Problems

I know that happens all too often. They seen to be the
worst dealers of most makes, just another ford

Need to diagnose from any codes you have, same as
always & have reference trouble charts

Need the factory manuals-- as I have for my Hi-Tech Lincoln LS

I have issues beyond any dealer or service manual & I solve them
& I'm no dealer tech

Have to start over & keep paying until you get a person who
can properly diagnose & find the route cause
