How do you replace the rear wheel hub on a 2003 Kia sedona. All I can find is directions on front not back.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Rear wheel Brake drum Hub cover Cotter pin Lock nut cover
  3. Adjust the locknut to achieve wheel bearing play of 0.001-0.006 inches (0.025-0.152 mm).
Removal & Installation

2002-05 Models
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Rear wheel Brake drum Hub cap Cotter pin Lock nut cover Lock nut Wheel bearing retainer washer and the outer wheel bearing Hub assembly Grease seal Inner wheel bearing
  3. Clean and inspect the wheel bearings and races for unusual wear or damage. Replace parts as necessary.
To install:
  1. Pack the wheel bearings with grease for assembly.
  2. Install or connect the following:

    Inner wheel bearing Grease seal Hub assembly Lock nut. Adjust the locknut to achieve wheel bearing play of 0.001-0.006 inches (0.025-0.152 mm). Lock nut cover Cotter pin Hub cap Brake drum Rear wheel

Lower ball joints. Tighten the pinch bolts to 69-85 ft. lbs. (93-115 Nm). Outer tie rod ends. Tighten the nuts to 43-58 ft. lbs. (59-78 Nm). Sway bar links. Tighten nuts to 69-85 ft. lbs. (93-115 Nm). Hub retaining nuts. Tighten the hub nuts to 177-199 ft. lbs. (240-270 Nm). Front wheels. Tighten the lug nuts to 65-79 ft. lbs. (88-108 Nm).

I need to replace the wheel bearings on the front of my 2003 kia. How hard is this job and can I do it in my driveway? I'm quite good with tools but have limited access to things like presses and pullers

Yes u can do it your self and yes on drive is ok u will b able to do it Fred hi
with drifts most will just come of as u dismantle it the only one that is hard to do is the rear one on stub axle and some times the carrier in hub just go steady and work ur way around knocking them of keeping square as they come of putting back u will need a deep scoket the same size as carrier not on bearing its self then build back up come back to me if u have any probs

How to replace front wheel bearing on 2003 kia sedona

Disassembly 1. Remove oil seal from front wheel hub. 2. Remove front wheel hub assembly with suitable tool.

Use 2 bolts [ same size as screws ] 1.5'' - 2'' or so...thread into 2 screw holes...tighten both evenly untill drum comes off.

I can't get the wheel hub assembly off the axel I have removed the caliber and everything. It is a kia sedona 2002. Why won't the wheel hub come off I can't see any bolts. I think I am doing something...

Sometimes it just takes a little coersion. Try tapping on the back of it with a hammer. They can get a little stubborn at times. Good luck!

one check if your wheels are tight 95 ftlbs if mag wheels remove make sure no heavy corrosin arond hub and rim wheel will not seat properly and come loose. 2 check front end if belts are showing check ball joints and tie rides for wear vans are also known
for bad wheel bearings even if you cant hear it at 80km50mph give or take it may have ecssive play
check that front end .otherchecks ps pump and or loose p/s belt
