It sounds like one lambda sensor or the cat has failed, bank 2 .is the lh bank it has 2 sensors, 1 upstream and one downstream. good idea would be to find someone with obd2 diagnostic equipment to monitor live data, to help you sort it out . i think you have a lambda sensor gone down. hope this helps.

SOURCE: Used Jaguar Stype 2000 model
Don't buy! Run away as fast as you can! I just got mine 2.5 months ago with 74,000 miles on it. $5000.00 later it's still running poorly. Transmission had to be rebuilt, all of the seals and gaskets had to be repalced, all coils had to replaced and coil #4 replaced once more and now coils are going to have to be replaced again. Some problems can only be fixed by a Jag dealer which is 2-3 times more expensive than a regualr mechanic. Researched vehicle AFTER I bought it. 1999-2004 have serious issues with transmissions, electronics and windows.
SOURCE: Hood latch is jammed on 2000 Stype Jaguar. How do
You can use your ignition key to open the boot, it has a key hole on or under the boot chrome trim
SOURCE: how to unlock truck jaguar stype when no power
The button or the fob will not work with low or no battery power - you need to use the key. There is a keyhole on the boot under the trim or under by the reg. plate lights according to what facelift model you have.
good luck.
