Rough idle. 70000 miles cleaned throttle body charge batter run good for short time then rough idle again

Have you cleaned the throttle body and throttle body valve? have you cleaned the idle speed control air bypass valve? are the injectors clean? Are there any fault codes in memory, do the things I mentioned if you haven't already. Also hard engine mounts can cause roughness at idle. Another thing is the timing belt tight?

Clean the inside of the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and a clean lint free cloth. Check or have checked the TPS Throttle Position Sensor as it can cause idle and stumble issues.

What obd codes are present? Go to autozone for free test.

A few things ,97;tune up, fuel filter,air filter,clan throttle body,put in tank some fuel injection cleaner good one not cheap.

no check engine lite? if not pull the air intake tube and look for a dirty throttle body. the idle air valve may be unable to seat so it is searching and needs cleaning. use a carb cleaner that is safe for throttle plates. and use your finger to rub around the plate to clean the gunk off

yea id definately try cleaning ur throttle body 1st. My 03 1500hd had the exact same bad idle after my battery went bad it would die at lights unless i kept foot on gas i cleaned throttle body runs perfect now took 30min cost 8$ for cleaner at autozone and theres how to videos on you tube

I would take it in and have them do a diagnostic on it, sounds like the cam shaft sensor to me.

What engine?

adjust the TPS, throttle position sensor.

First though, disconnect battery for 1/2 hour. Restart engine and drive for 15 miles while computer relearns changes you made. Will run rough for this period.

has anyone checked for a vacum leak? a vacum leak will cause rough idle at idle. check the lines from the pcv valve.
