What is wrong with My Lexus LS 400, reverse gear was burnt but was fixed. After repairs it started consuming much fuel, raw fuel comes out of the exhaust, the oil was changed it was mixed with Fuel.

CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS AND CHECK FOR ENGINE VACUUM AT IDLE. MUST BE AT LEAST 19 INCHES,. IF NOT, YOUR CONVERTER IS PLUGGED.

Usually a burnt diode in the alternator or broken or badly slipping drive belt. Diode will have to be fixed by technician.

Look in the trunk for the plastic access panels. Remove the side that has the burnt out bulb. Locate the bulb holder that holds the burnt out bulb. Grasp it in one hand and turn it counter clockwise until it becomes loose enough to remove it. Once you have it out, remove the bad bulb and insert the new one. You will have to push in on the bulb and turn it a little counter clockwise to get it lined up to slide out. Assembly is the reverse of what you just did.

check gear linkage,,may have just poped off?
