I have an 2012 chrysler 200. i recently had to replace the radio. it was purchased off of ebay. i have thevehicles registration and radios serial number how do i retreive the security code

The code is unique to each radio. You will need to show proof of purchase and the radio serial number to a Chrysler dealer to get the unlock code for the radio you purchased.

Can i please ave radio code for my mondeo ghia please serial number m009556 .thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick, You can check out the link below for more information or take your registration papers with your licence (licence is to prove YOU own the car) to a car dealer ie: Holden, Ford, Chrysler and ask at the sales office for the RADIO SECURITY PIN NUMBER, You'll receive your Radio security pin number and Radio serial number. These numbers belong to your car and once you have them DON'T loose them because in Australia some dealers charge a fee and some don't.... Hope this helped....CHEERS.. https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=RADIO+SECURITY+PIN+NUMBER

Radio code

  • The 4-digit code for your radio is listed on the two radio security cards supplied with the vehicle.
  • Enter the code by using the pre-set buttons numbered 1 to 6 and a "beep sound" occurs.
  • If the code is not properly entered, then begin the code entry again, starting with the first digit. If the code is not properly entered in three successive attempts the radio will not accept any entry until the radio has been left on for one hour (the radio display will show the word 'WAIT'). After one hour in the 'on' position the radio will accept three additional entries.

Note: Should you lose your radio security cards, contact your Jaguar Dealer, who for security reasons will require proof of vehicle ownership.

I hope this info helps!

The radio says code and i need the code how do i get one

Call (1-888-648-7820)

As part of the radio's anti-theft system on some older model year vehicles (2002 and older), the radio resets itself whenever it loses power from the vehicle's battery. Radio security codes are associated with each individual radio unit rather than the vehicle identification number (VIN) (since a vehicle could have the radio replaced). The radio security code must be input in the radio in order for the radio to work.

When you purchased your vehicle, you should have received a card that lists the four digit security code for the radio. If you are unable to locate this card (sometimes owners find it inserted in the Owner's Manual or glove box), the radio will need to be removed so that you can locate the Part Number and Serial Number for your specific radio. The Part Number typically begins with the letters 'MR' and the Serial Number is generally a string of digits and both numbers can be located on the audit unit's chassis.

Please contact your local Authorized Mitsubishi Dealer if you need assistance removing the radio. Once the Part Number and the Serial Number are in hand, your Dealer can access the security code for that radio. You may also contact our Customer Relations Call Center at 1-888-MITSU2011 (1-888-648-7820) and one of our agents will be happy to provide you with the security code and steps to reset the radio as long as you have the Part Number and Serial Number for your radio unit. Agents are available Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT). Best of all they will give it to you free
