2003 Cadillac Seville starts fine seems to sit and idle fine but when you give it gas it wont rev up has for rpm and when you're driving it if you really push it hard you can get up to maybe 60 65 miles per hour but it acts like it doesn't want to shift I hear that noise that comes from the trunk area don't know if its the fuel pump or I thought it was the air shocks but not sure

SOURCE: Blazer transmission not shifting properly beetween 1 and 2

Your going to have to get the ECM scanned, Auto Zone scan's for free and most garage now will scan for $10.00 to $15.00 since they all have the scanners now and need the business.
You could have a Vehicle Velocity Sensor (V V S)  going bad or the wire harness it self. The V.V.S tells the ECM how fast the drive shaft is rotating and calculate's what gear it should be in relative with the engine speed and throttle position, and transmission fluid pressure.
Regardless you need the Blazer scanned to pin point why your transmission is shifting the way it is. Could be as simple as time for transmission oil and filter change for $125.00 or a loose wire harness.
Check your transmission fluid and try not to run the blazer to hard, to replace the transmission start at $1,900.00 for a rebuilt.
Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted

SOURCE: 1999 dodge durango is hard to start. Starts with

FIrst have you tried giving the engine a tune up (ie replaced the spark plugs)

Also you need to check the condition of all the vacumn lines on the engine loss of vacumn can cause poor idling.

WHY DOESNT MY 2003 CADILLAC SEVILLE HAVE ANY POWER AND DOESNT WANT TO SHIFT EASILY

1. Verify the exhaust system is not plugged. Check for less than 1.5 PSI backpressure at 2,000 RPM in park, or open the exhaust before the converter.

2. Check the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP) for 4.8-5.0 volts Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and about 1 volts at idle.

3. Check actual engine vacuum at idle at 2000 RPM.

4. Unplug the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, reset fuel trim to 0%, and road test. ALSO CHECK FOR FAULT CODES IN THE OBD SYSTEM.

97 M3 chokes on clold start.

The E36 M3 is natorious for having some minor enigine hesitation immediately after a cold start. My car does this for about the first block both in the morning and after work. Its part of the engine management start routine: you will see this more specifically if you just start you car when its cold and let it idle. Initially you'll notice that the idle tone is a bit more rumbly and rough; but after about minute or so you'll notice that pitch changes and smoothes out. I was alarmed about this too, but after some research, I found it was a characteristic of the design. Just take it easy for the first block and you will never notice. Don't ever cold rev your engine. - Hope that helps.
