You will need it again if youi want to DIY. Any way, follow the Exhaust piping back to the area usually under the passenger seat, and or driver's seat if there is a dual exhaust. It is in front of the Ehaust muffler. It will have an oxygen sensor in the front with a sensor wire going to the firewall and then to the ECU (brain). Thre may also be the same arrangement on the end of the converter.

You should get instructions on where to put the air filter when you purchase new ones. I think that it is under the dash on the passenger side. There should be a cover underneath the glove box with screws holding it in place. This thing takes two air filters so Chevy can milk more money out of you.
