I believe you will have to remove the head cover (side with dipstick hole) and you should be able to retrieve it that way easily

Many dipstick holders are bolted to the engine...removing this bolt and the dipstick tube should also retrieve the dipstick...you may need a new tube, as well as dipstick...Hope this helps.

I need to remove the dip stick tube from engine i broke the dip stick the head

I would definitely try to easy a magnetic extendable pen or this is a pic of a silver flexible tool retriever on my creeper just to have a dark background, you push the right hand side and these little fingers extend and spread out on the left side, when you release the button the fingers will retract and grab that dipstick to pull it out.
image-apkbkthoj5ylrtldgldshfje-1-0.jpg If these two ideas do not work or the tools are not available, then usually you will need to remove the oil pan from the bottom of the engine. you will see where the dip stick tube is bolted on if you need to remove the tube.. But while the oil pan is off the broken dip stick will be sitting there and you can pull it through the bottom, replace the oil pan gasket with a new one and those bolts are usually set to a specific torque setting. Please follow up in the comments with more vehicle information, or if you are successful I'd like to hear back from you Good Luck!!!

01 Lincoln nativagator oil tube dipstick broke off an don't know where to find the other part that's still on the engine an what I need to get it replaced an how soon?

The part that broke off might be long enough to still be in the tube and you can get it out by removing the tube out of the block should be just pressed in and can be pulled out, check to see if it has a bolt holding it. If the part that broke off is short and fell into the oil pan don't worry about it just put in a new dipstick

Broken dipstick engine oil

Shouldn't be to hard. Find where the sleeve is connected to the side of the engine. Usually one bolt. Remove the bolt. Remove dipstick sleeve from your engine. Then you can use a wire hanger from the other end to push it up. Or down which ever is easiest..

Oil dipstick

If the oil is drained, and refilled to the manufacturers recommended capacity, get any dipstick that will fit and register the oil, then make a mark on that stick at the oil level. D.I.Y. replacement. Not having a dipstick does not stop you from changing the oil, contaminated oil will do more damage, than a little to much oil.

Dip stick broke and cant get it out whats the beast way to get it out

Hi:
Depending where the dipstick broke off, you possibly can unbolt the dipstick tube from the engine, and hopefully the remnant of the dipstick is sticking out part way. If not , then you have no choice but to loosen your entire oil pan on the bottom of the engine.
