My car is back at the factory getting "worked on"...sudden loss of Power and control while driving on the freeway...has anyone else experienced this? ... Change the fuel filter first. Then look at the catalytic converter, if it continues.

A clogged fuel filter or a fuel pump going out. Could be a dirty air filter also. When's the last time you had a tune up?

check for a lose wire in the fuse box or a bad conection

Havbe the engine electonics been tested for fault codes? Buy a basic code reader for the OBD2 control system and test it.

Sounds like the alternator is going bad and killing the battery.

It was the onboard computer that was the problem.

start checking the trans fluid level, a trans filter change and trans flush should help.
