remove the connector, its locked, like all are, so press unlock
They can be hard to get at, and in many cases a bad one has swollen enough that is is extremely tight in the hole, be gentle, try to get it to turn and the back and forth twist as you pull, you'll have to remove the oil pan if you brake it off,,,, they are fairly tough, I have not broken even one of the thousand I have replaced
best is to leave it be, until the scan tool proves its bad. why guess.????? why not post symptoms and not how to remove parts? any part can stick on any car, and removing good parts, puts things at risk, (rust ,etc) if the car will not start, connect scan tool , (real tool) and crank for 5 seconds, ALL PCM made report even 1 miss fire in 10 of any bad CKP sensor. let the PCM tell you its bad, then repace it if and only if the wires to it are not damaged or corroded connector there. alldata.com log in and read.
