Fan with burn smell when engine switched off

It is normal for the fan to run for a short while (few minutes) after turning off the car to allow the heat in the radiator to dissipate. The time may be dependent on the coolant temperature or it could just be a fixed time (i.e. so many minutes). The burning smell could be a loose belt, but I suspect the radiator fan is electrical and not belt-driven. I think the burning smell could be oil from a leaking gasket. The oil drips onto the hot engine and voila... burnt oil. Not sure what you mean by new (new to you or 2013-14 model), but new cars should not have any leaking fluids. A stuck break caliper could aslo produce a burning smell.

Oil smoke.coming from both sides of engine

Check your rocker cover gaskets for any signs of oil leaks. Oil leaking from your engine can contact the exhaust headers, or other hot parts of the engine and can burn, resulting in smoking and a burning smell.

Im having problems with my audi a6 turbo Quattro, it is smoking out of the passenger side tail pipe and you can smell a burning smell

If its blue smoke then your valve stem seals are worn and that is allowing oil to enter the cylinders and burning with the gas.
