Trunk is locked/jammed and remote won't open it.

Under the hood is a fuse box with a stud in the fuse holder put pos on that lug and ground to engine. Is your battery dead also?

If your battery is charged and the remote and exterior boot release button are not working you have a electrical fault, the most likely cause will be a broken wire around the boot hinge.or a faulty boot latch, you should still be able to open the boot mechanicaly with the key in the boot lock barrel, if not it is more than likely siezed because it is little used, try putting some wd40 in the lock and try to free it off. if that fails you will have to remove the rear seats to gain access. have done this many times where i worked at a jaguar dealer. you can normally free the lock of if you persist with the wd40 hope this helps.
