Where is the EVAP solenoid located in a 1997 Grand Prix?

you should be able to fix it look for a can near the fuel tank that has vacuum hoses coming out of it and you should be able to just buy the bad solenoid

at rear bottom of engine, u must change it from the bottom. Make sure the battery is disconnected before u start work.

The purge solenoid is in the engine compartment and the vent is under the vehicle near the fuel tank, just follow the lines

Replace the EVAP purge solenoid. It is powered off the same fuse and it works as you are driving and not at idle . The MAF sensor is working all the time the engine is running.

1655 is an evap purge code ,evap solenoid is under the hood,plastic lines
with a green test cap in the line.

The evap system may be located right next to the fuel tank. You'll most likely see a can, hoses, solenoids, etc.

Grand Prix wont start

Try checking the starter solenoid wires.Make sure the wire hasnt come loose and the battery to solenoid cable is tight.
