as you've changed the usual items i think you would be best getting the OBD codes read as this will pinpoint the sensor/switch causing the fault, i would guess at the ignition coil pack , the OBD will be a definate diagnosis
If you don't know what you are talking about you shouldn't answer how could it be your starter if the engine is cranking over but won't start da big red truck !!!
Is the security light lit on the instrument cluster ? Injectors firing ? Spray carburetor cleaner through the throttle plate an see if starts then . If it starts an runs for a second it's not getting any fuel . How do you know it's getting gas ? Did you hook up a fuel pressure gauge ? Hook up a scanner an check an check data parameters ?
Sound like its time for a tune up. Plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter. "Tis the season to be stranded fa la la la la da da da da" cold starts are often the results of a needed tune up. HTH
Passkey system has been activated. Be sure you are using correct key. Disconnect both PCM fuses (there are two mini fuses labelled PCM A and PCM B I think or PCM 1 and PCM 2 in the underhood power distribution box on driver's side. Take 'em out for a few minutes. 3-5 should do it. But more than one minute for sure. This should reset the computer, and allow you to fire up with the correct key. YOu haven't changed computers, have you? Anyone been under the steering column dash area for alarms, stereos, remotes, or other work??? Probing the wrong circuit under there is a quick way to set off the passkey antitheft lockout.
Let me know if this helps. I'll be glad to do further research for you. I've had to reset many of these on late-model GM cars. We install breathalyzers for DUI convicts, so we've made all the mistakes you can, hopefully. Later, TaterTodd
