Is your car petrol or Diesel? If diesel then your piston rings are finished.check your engine oil level, drive for a while and check again ,if level is higher then you definately need to overhaul your piston rings.Hope it helps.

High fuel consumption

Hi There,

If you are wanting to lessen the high fuel consumption you must do the following.
1 - Over-Reving is a big no no. Keep the revs between 2 and 4 thousand rpm. (it is highly easy to over rev so lessen the throttle)
2 - You can buy a product called octane booster. The higher the octane in the fuel tank the better for your car. To use insert into fuel tank as you would a bowser nozzle and release amount of octane as per product intructions prior to filling up with petrol, then add petrol after. This ensures proper mixing of octane throughout tank.

Hope this helps

Cheers Buckaroo,
Chris.
