Battery is low. When it is low, a relay shuts off the starter. The electronics will still work, but you need a jump start.Battery is low. When it is low, a relay shuts off the starter. The electronics will still work, but you need a jump start.

The battery might be putting out enough current for the electronics and not enough for the starter. Start by making sure your battery connections are clean and tight. If they get loose or corroded they can keep the starter from being able to draw enough current. If you see corrosion you can clean it off with a wire brush or by gently scraping it with a pen knife.
hi sarah,i assume your battery is dead, hence the jump start,if,after charging/replacing the battery, your car windows still wont close reset by using the key in the door lock,(lock car and hold the key over, windows will go up.wait 30 secs then unlock/hold key over, windows will go down, then lock the car again/hold key over until all windows shut then wait 30 secs get in and start the car,you have just reset the system).
geoff.
Yes. Because the security system was "set". You need the code to unlock the security system for the radio. It is like that for theft pruposes. Best bet is to go to the dealership to have them reset it or figure out how to get the code for your radio.
Youes probably begot a bad connection inside the fuse block. You can try cleaning fuse contacts with a really small nail file or something to re-establish contact.
