Its part of the hazard flasher switch , or should I say the switch is part of it ! Where is your flasher switch located ? In the radio bezel ? the trim plate around the radio if you don't know what a bezel is . Oh yea , to answer you question , yes turn signals do go through it !

My turn signals won't come on at all?

check the fuse if good then turn on the hazard lights if they work then you probably need a turn signal flasher which is a separate flasher unit then the hazard one.it usually looks like the hazard one so with the hazards on and locate it then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and you will also know not to change the wrong flasher unit.the signal flasher is often located at or near the under dash fuse panel or somewhere in the dash you don`t say what type of car your talking about.

92 caprice classic turn signals not working, but the bulbs are fine. Hazards, brakes, etc all work fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the problem is the turn signal flasher is defective. You can has two flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That is why the hazard lights flash and the turn signals do not. Replace the turn signal flasher relay located on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted behind the instrument cluster in the convenience center. They are both mounted in the same location so turn on the hazard lights and the one that you put your finger on that is not clicking is the turn signal relay.

The Turn signals on my 1998 Toyota Corolla will not work they won't even show up on dashboard what is the problem?

Do the flashers still work? This sounds like a bad flasher relay problem.Locate the flasher for the turn signals and hazard lights. The flasher relay is under the dash near the steering column. It will be the larger of the square relays.Try wiggling it to see if turn siganls will work or emergency flashers will work. The relay should look like this jsmes1027.jpg

1998 taurus - turn signals were working - pushed the hazard lights button - hazards did not work and also now turn signals do not work

Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse/relay. Also look at the turn signal flasher and the four way flasher located in fuse/relay panel for problem. If the fuses are good replace the flashers to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

Turn signals and hazard flasher stopped working in my 2000 Toyota Sienna. Checked fuses and both are good. Is the relay the only other likely problem? Thanks!

Yes, you are on the right track. More than likely it is a defective flasher relay as one relay controls turn signal and hazard flash. The flasher relay is located behind the left side of the instrument panel.

Hazard lights wont come when you push hazard button turn signals will not work push it again and they work

it sounds like the relay has gone for your hazard lights, when you press the button to turn them on, it will disconect the power to the main indicators hence wont work when hazards pused in, try locating either the hazard flasher unit, or the relay , have you checked the fuses?

Flasher location

I believe the hazard/flasher relay is located under/left of the dash . I think if you remove the under panel under the steering column it should be attached to the BCM bracket under the dash on the left side.

Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator.
Remove the steering column filler panel.
Slide the hazard and turn signal flasher to the right, releasing the tabs from the Body Control Module (BCM) bracket.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the hazard and turn signal flasher.

Hope this helps.....
