Timing is to far advanced causing vehicle to run hotter than normal you'll need to take it to a dealer it can be a few items causing this ecu unit faulty sensors or oil valve hope this helps

SOURCE: hyundai sonata 4 cyclinder touble code P0171

Sometimes the mass air flow sensor will become clogged with some miniscule particles of dust or whatever else. When you open up your hood somewhere near where the air filter box is, there will be a hose running from that to the engine, the mass air flow sensor should be somewhere in near there. They are easy to remove and should be held in place with a few screws. Make sure not to touch any of the electrical connectors on the inside or allow them to get dirty. I used mass air flow sensor cleaner from the local parts place but it is a bit pricey. There may be some alternative cleaners available that are not as expensive. Take the sensor to a relatively dust free area and spray it all over with the cleaner and allow to dry. At the same time under the hood where the sensor was spray that area as well. Once the sensor has dried out re-install it and you should notice an improvement. If the problem still persists you may need to change your spark plugs, or spark plug wires.

SOURCE: getting P0011 code on Hyundai Sonata

more than likely you have a bad oil control valve if in fact you have an 06 sonata. They are chain driven engines... You can ohm out the valve and get a good reading even when the valve is bad. Pull it out and check to see if it is clogged, if it is thats more likely your problem. If it is clean, go ahead and replace the valve. Hyundai calls them the oil control valve (OCV) and usually located on the head close the the variable valve sprocket.

SOURCE: check engine light on code reads p2096 what

Fuel trim too lean. Usually means vacuum leak. Look for crushed, broken or melted off vacuum hoses near intake manifold. Or an obvious hissing noise at a normal idle. If so replace or repair clear codes your done. If not obvious take carb cleaner spray with nozzle attached car running & go over all vacuum hoses, intake manifold, egr valve see if idle raises if so you found leak. Repair. Could also be bad oxygen sensor switching bad o2 sensor but rarely.

I just had my oil changed last week at Superlube and now my engine light is on and give code P0011 for my 2007 Hyundai Sonata, does anyone know if the oil change could have caused this?

Inspect your oil control valve, disconnect it and read the ohms resistance, specs 6.9-7.9. If is not in specs replace it. it is possible oil change caused it, TIP: after market filter will cause engine damage,

Check engine light would go on for a few days then the next time I start it, the light would wbe out. Then a couple of days later it goes on again. auto zone said it was P00011

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) you cite (P0011) is Camshaft Position-Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance(Bank 1)

I take it this Sonata is a 4 cylinder engine. The vehicle is still under warranty if still under 100,000 miles & original owner.

Check engine lights is p0011 how do I fix this problem

I looked up the code you posted, and came back as the camshaft position sensor, which is behind the timing belt cover, if it is the right model.
