We recently changed the window motor bc the windows were not rolling down, it seems to work for a few minutes then it stops again, so we were told the CCM we did that as well but the alarm keeps going off does that need to be programmed?

The problem with the windows is still there and i can't control the passenger side window from the drivers side or the mirrors. And the lights don't illuminate the windows switch i don't know what else might be the problem

OK IF IT IS NOT A CONVERTIBLE REPLACE THE TWO SWITCHES!!!THE PROBLEM MUST GO OFF!!!PUT BACK THE OLD COMFORT MODULE AND CHECK IF THE WINDOWS ARE WORKING OK.THE ALARM ISSUE MIGHT BE DUE TO A FAULTY LOCK..USUALLY THE DRIVERS LOCK MODULE...I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO REPLACE THE SWITCHES FIRST..U MIGHT NEED TO CHECK THE WIRING COMING OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND INTO THE DOOR...A CRACKED WIRE IS ALSO A POSSIBLE FAULT.CHECK AND DO THE ABOVE AND LET ME KNOW.......

Saab window

something is stopping it movement thinks there is somthing it in the way and will go back down. same on the down. there is a control switch in the motor at fault. its more easyer just to change the motor to fix it as the motor has to come apart to get to the switch.

The rear passenger side window recently stopped working. i used the key to roll down all windows and all worked properly. i then rolled them all back up using the key and they all went up smoothly and at...

FIRST YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE REAR PASSENGER INTERIOR DOOR COVER TO GET TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. ONCE REMOVED LOOK TO SEE IF THE WIRE IS STILL CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR. IF IT IS, DISCONNECT THE WIRE. ***IF YOU HAVE A MULTIMETER(OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES) WITH THE IGNITION SET TO AUX, OR ON IT DOESNT MATER, TEST THE POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE. IF IT READS 9.5-12+V, THE POWER IS GETTING TO THE WINDOW MOTOR AND STOPPING, YOU NEED A NEW MOTOR. IF THERE IS NO POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO A SHOP. IT IS NOT A FUSE SINCE ALL THE WINDOWS RUN OFF THE SAME FUSE AND RELAY.

**IF NO MULTIMETER IS AVALIBLE, TAKE A 12V POWER SOURCE (CAR BATTERY) AND RUN THE POWER DIRECTLY FROM THE BATTERY TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. IF THE MOTOR RUNS, BAD WIREING. IF THE MOTOR DOES NOT RUN, BAD MOTOR.

The rear door driver side window on the Lexus ES300 will not open. The other windows are operating well.

I replace glass in cars for a living and I see this often. I also own an 02 ES300 which had the same problem. It's usually from lack of use that a rear doorglass stops working. The electric motor gets some corrosion in it and stops working. I repeatedly slapped the interior door panel while activating the switch that rolls the glass up or down. After about 5-10 minutes of this it started to work. If you get lucky like I did, make sure you roll the window up and down multiple times if you get it to work. Then remember to occasionally roll all the other windows up and down a few times every week or so to keep this from happening again. Good luck!

2004 chevy cavalier. the driver's side window

Try spraying silicone lube (generously) down the felt tracks on either end, as well as up sides, and see if that helps. Work window up & down.

Window

take off door panel and see if window has fallen off the track. may have to replace window motor as it is part of the window regulator is inside the motor and that maybe what is out.

Electric window has stopped rolling up

to get up pull on window with your hand while using switch in up position. if window is cocking to the side it is a bad window regulator. if it is just slow and then stopping probably a bad motor. it is harder to go up than down and this causes more pull on motor as it goes bad it will cause the breaker to heat up and trip so if you wait a few minutes you will see it tries to go up again.one quick way to check if motor is trying to work is to cut key on and watch your dome light when you work switch if it dims a little when you hit up button you know power is going to it. if not then possible switch problem.work you passenger window and look at light so you will see what i mean.

DR Power window stops when going up,

If the window is not moving easily in its channels, it may be taking too long and drawing too much current that may be tripping a thermal overload switch that takes a while to recover.
Check to see if the problem window is taking longer to close than the others. If so, the channels may be misaligned or the motor close to death.

Power window comes up intermittently

I had the same problem. It was a bent rod on the regulator, which burned out the motor. Easiest way is to switch out the whole assembly, the motor and the regulator. Mine is working just fine now. I am a female and was able to switch it out just fine i just had to have someone else hold the window in the right positions to get to the bolts on the window.
