Trying to remove the bumper because the front grill was dented in a little bit and I had bought new ones to put it. It looks like the front bumber has to come off to replace those, but I can't seem to take off the bumper. It has fog lights too and I understand the electrical wires have to be disconnected from those.
Apparently no one has a clue how to remove the bumper on a 2009 Ford Fusion. Everything I have seen is for a 2010 and above.

you need a repair manual, Haynes or Chilton, there are too many places to explain here in this format, if you can not find these book at your local parts store, then try your local library, then sometimes even have the dealer shop manuals for your use, hope this helps

The holes in the bumper are hard to repair, so you are in for a new (or used) bumper cover, new metal grille and some fairly heavy duty paintwork. If you have a difficult color or are in a high cost area, this could cost as much as 2500-3000 dollars. Taking the time to find the used parts and finding a body shop that is willing to work on the price, you could get it down into the 1200 dollar range. This assumes there is no damage to any of the lights or any structural damage beyond this. Good luck. Accidents ****, but consider yourself lucky. The damage to your car could be worse and more importantly you were not injured (hopefully).
