Do I need to pull the power steering pump off of the 1995 surbuban 350 engine in order to replace the high pressure hose?<-You Ask.
NO Not on the 95 and If you do need or want to REMOVE the PUMP it Comes off Without the Removal of P/S Pump Pulley. Now if you are replacing the P/S Unit Yhere is A Special tool fo pull off Pulley .
Ist a Universal tool for Ford & GM just P/S Pump Pulley Removal Tool Auto Zone has en for $40.00 or rent it from them.

u need to get a special tool for pulling asnd installing the pump's pulley, as soon as you get the pulley off the pump is easy to remove, Autozone and Kragen loan this tool with acredit card secrity deposit.

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery,(WARNING if you have the TheftLock Radio, make the system is off before doing anything that requires the battery to be disconnected)
Remove the radiator upper fan shroud,
Remove the serpentine belt,
Place a drain pan under the hoses to catch the fluid and remove the and remove the hoses from the hard lines coming out of the pump, making a note of which is which, stuff the end of a clean rag into each hose to prevent anything from getting inside it,
Using a pulley removal tool, remove the pulley from the pump,
Remove the four bolts from the rear of the pump( V8 has 4 bolts,V6 has 2 bolts ) and lift the pump out.
Installation,
Place the pump in it's mounting bracket and install the bolts, tighten them to 37 ft lbs.
Connect the hoses and tighten securely,
Press the pulley on the shaft using a pulley installation tool,DO NOT HAMMER IT ON,, the proper position is the front of the hub flush with the end of the shaft,
Install the serpentine belt,
Install the upper fan shroud,
Fill to the cold mark the correct of NEW fluid,
Re-connect the battery cable.
Bleed the system as follows,
Wheels straight ahead,
Start the engine and allow it to fast idle,
Check for leaks,
Re-check the fluid lever and add more if needed to keep it up to the Cold mark,
Move the steering wheel from side to side several times WITHOUT hitting the stops, this will work the air out of the system, keep adding fluid if needed during this process,
When the fluid level stops going down the system should be free of any trapped air,
Set the wheels straight ahead again and allow the engine to run for 5-10 minutes before shutting it down, re-check the fluid level,
Road test the vehicle and drive it long enough to get it up to normal operating temperature,
Re-check fluid level and fill it to the Hot level.
