HAVE CAR ABS BRAKES CODE SCAN.BECAUSE WHEN ABS LIGHT IS ON.YOUR CAR ABS BRAKES NOT WORKING.CHECK ABS BRAKES FUSE AND RELAYS.IF ALL IS GOOD.HAVE DEALERSHIP OR GARAGE CHECK ABS BRAKE SYSTEM BECAUSE ABS BRAKE UNIT IS PART OF THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IF KEEP DRIVING COULD END UP WITH BRAKE FAILURE.CAR NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WHEN ABS OR ANY WARNING BRAKE LIGHT APPEARS.

On occasion an ABS light will come on when a brake light is out. So check your brake lights first. Your ABS light is on because there is a malfunction in the ABS system. Is your brake warning light and your ABS warning light both on? This would be an indicator of a major malfunction in the ABS system. Stop driving the vehicle and fix this immemorially. If only your ABS light warning light is on this will not effect normal braking but the ABS system is disabled while the ABS warning light is on. You still need to have it repaired but you still have brakes for the moment. Now the code for this fault will be stored inside the ABS memory module. So you pinpoint this with scanner. you have an ABS code in the ABS computer. You most likely damaged an ABS sensor. even after myouo fix this you will need to get the code cleared
NOTE: autozone wont be able to access the ABS computer.
