Car sat a bit i charged battery car started headlights and hazard lighs will not shut off, even when key is in off position
SOURCE: electrical problem
I just had the same problem and I was driveing myself nuts trying to determine which control unit or relay was bad. I decided to go back to basics, starting with the battery, cleaning all the cables and makeing sure all the ground studs were tight. On the firewall there are 3 power supply studs,1 on the left,1 in the middle for the starter supply and 1 on the right.put a wrench on each connection and tighten them.Worked for me! Good luck

It sounds like they disconnected your battery when they worked on your car....
Try this and see if it works..
1-insert and remove key from ignition two times
2-close and open driver door two times
3-insert and remove key once from ign.
4-close and open drvr door twice
5-insert key into ign.,then close driver door
6-turn key to on (not start) then off, twice this is rewrite mode, have all remotes to reprogram it will clear any lost remotes.
7-remove key from ignition, the door locks should cycle twice.if not start over.it may take a few tries.
8-press lock/unlock together and hold for a second
9-release,and press lock on remote, the door locks will cycle
confirming program.continue to do other remotes you have, steps 8 and
9.if only one in possession, you are done. To end mode open door or insert key into ignition.
You'll need to follow the steps with no more than a 1-2 second delay between each step.. hope it works

You´ll need a new batt and a scanner reset, but maybe if (-) batt pole wasn´t properly touched you have a serious module damage! Good Luck!
SOURCE: I lost the keyless remotes
If the engine will start, and the car is drivable, find the alarm and disconnect it until such time as you can get to a repair shop. If disconnecting the alarm kills the engine, then use a jumper wire to bypass it. If the car won't start because of the security system, I'm afraid you will have to have it towed to a dealership or repair facility to disarm it.
