I would - but the timing belt would be overdue at 120K if a 2.0L engine. From the service interval linked below:

"At 110K miles (175,000 km) replace timing belt (2.0L engine only). Check condition of timing belt tensioning system, dampening pulleys, and idler pulleys and replace if necessary (2.0L engine only)."

Water leaks from top of coolant bottle

You may be overheating. The water pums have been an issue with these cars (Audi,VW). The impeller breaks and will no longer push water. This can be verified if you remove the thermostat and turn the impeller with your fingers (vehicle off of course). If you're able to turn it replace water pump, thermostat and timing belt.

My 99 Audi A4 resevoir is bubbling, had the water pump and timing replaced a month ago anything????

1. Possible air lock in the cooling system, does the internal fan blow hot air? You can blead the system through small bleeding points on the water hoses.

2. Head gasket gone, do the water pipes to the rad expand under pressure?

3. Faulty thermostat. Thermostat controls the amount of water directed to the rad.

4. Not enough anti freeze.

5. Rad cooling fan not starting when supposed to causing overheating. Does the tempture gauge in the dash read normal.
Let me know how it goes.

When do I replace timing belt on 2008 Audi A4 (2.0) ? Dealer says 75,000 miles Manual says 110,000 miles current milage is 74,400 Thanks for your guidance. Paul Worley

The manual states the maximum, I always try to replace them around 90 thousand
miles. On some engines, the valves and pistons are an interference setup and if the
timing belt jumps time or breaks ,then the cylinders strike the valves ,requiring
remanufacturing of the head.

I have a 1999 audi a4 quattro 1.8l turbo. timing belt broke and replaced the motor, new timing belt, water pump and thermostat. now it overheats after about 15 minutes. what could the problem be?

An airlock ?? all vw group engines have to be vented after filling with antifreeze/water.....they used to fit a tap on the top heater hose, sadly no longer.so you have to undo the clip and vent it manualy.....

If im getting the radiator leak fixed on audi a4 is it worth getting the timing belt done at the same time if needed?

If the radiator is being replaced, yes, it may be a good idea to do the timing belt and water pump as well as the thermostat at the same time. If your car is in the area of 80K miles, yes, for sure.

Once the radiator is removed it is much easier to do the timing belt so this will save you some labor costs.

White tail smoke, both temp gauges (oil/engine)

Alright there your on the money there. A4 audi's and The 2liter golfs do haed gaskets at around 145-150,000 miles. the oil's foamy kinda yellowie cream. Tip for ya When you do the head gasket cahnge the rad and water pump at the same time. Mine didthe same it's costly but worth it for piece of mind, Plus is the only time you get to the water pump apart from changing the timing belt.
