My son, has a robbery charge, with another person. He didn't actually rob the person, he just got caught with the money on him as well. A lawyer contacted his mother and I stating that he read my son case and said that he will get off with probation only because it was his first offense. Then he came back from speaking with the judge and the DA stating that my son have to go upstate NY for a couple of months. Two and a half years later my son is still locked up to this day. We paid his fee of what he was asking. Two maybe three weeks ago, i told him that my son been have problems with the CO's and other inmates, so he went to check his status and found out that he had problem with the CO'S but it is unfortunately that our system is corrupt. My question is, I feel that he took the money and ran with it, because his promises did not hold up for what he told us in the beginning and we really don't know what was said behind those closed doors or even if he actually represented my son, we do really know. Is there any action that i can take about my situation?

Obviously something is not adding up. A lawyer who says he will get probation without appearing in front of judge is guessing. First offense is one thing, depends on the charge, was it armed robbery, or just theft, did anyone get harmed, just too many possibilities on why he was sentenced, so lawyer could be to blame, a lot just go through the motion and could care less once they get paid. Sad, but true. FREE-STREAM-TV.com

Is it true Trump is using taxpayer money for lawsuit defense?

Sure. Obama used tax payer money to create a health care plan to fine taxpayers more that dont have it. So they take our money twice now we cant afford any health care.
Tax payer money paid court apointed lawyers every day in this country for thousands of criminals. Why would one more lawyer matter anyway. Tax payers pay for the entire government. Problem is they spend way more then we pay in so they just keep falling into debt.
Nothing tax money is used for is a good use. Thd government is to poorly operated to ever come back.

Do you get money to buy a car

By theft or robbery. If you wish to get it, fast, these are the easiest way. Otherwise; work hard to earn money to buy it.

1999 pontiac grand am gt coupe needs a new head gasket is it worth buying the car for 1500 and getting it fixed

That would depend on the overall condition of the vehicle. Personally, I wouldn't buy a vehicle that I didn't know that the engine wasn't running because I could not check it out completely before giving them my money.

My engine caught on fire not bad but wiring is toasted this **** who sed he knew what he was doing(but didn't)replaced my injectors(i'm not even sure w/the right ones)in the process lost a washer...

WOW that is Horrible. The fuel lines are under pressure and some are under high pressure. Its not like the old days when a rubber hose fixed anything. Without seeing the car it is really hard to say how bad it is. If its not too bad then your best bet is to go to a junk yard and buy the whole wire harnes. That is going to be the cheapest route, BUT, you may have other problems like shorts caused by the wires touching, or other components fried because of the shorts. you could rack up a lot of time and money in this. Check the NADA value of the car and decide from there if it is worth in or not. Also you are going to have to replace the fuel rail since he cut it and still correct the injector problems. Sounds like a lawyer may need to be consulted if you dont work something out with the guy. Sorry for your misfortune.

Radio Code for Ford Focus

Hi,

I am going to save you £20 as you caught me in a generous mood! Also I resent these daylight robbery charges by Ford.

The code for your radio is 0006.

Please do leave a vote for the solution. Thanks.

A dealer has diagnosed our mini-van with a bad bearing in the AC compressor, and says it'll cost $ 1000.00 to replace !!! Can I get an after market or by-pass??? It is a 4 cylinder and they say that is a...

If your compressor is bad it needs to be replaced. You have several different options. 1. Run to a local auto parts store, buy a new compressor and have someone install and refill your system. 2. Buy a used compressor from a salvage yard have it installed for cheaper but more likely to go out faster. 3. Keep going to the dealer who will more then likely go to the same auto parts store buy the same part and increase the price on your invoice then charge you more per hour to install it then the local mechanic that's a block away. 4. The local mechanic might be able to put a smaller belt on and bypass your ac compressor. Putting the smaller belt on doesn't always work. Only on some vechiles. And on a personal note, if that dealership wants a $1000 for this job, I would consider that highway robbery!

06 Rav4 Rear Wiper motor

Unfortunate.
My question is: How can they justify charging you that amount of money? I sell the same part (Part number 85130-42061) for $260.78. There is NO WAY that should be charging you $285.00 labour, for a 54 minute job. That is robbery. If you want to replace the motor, go and buy it, pay the amount listed above, or find another dealer. Repost to me, and I will send you detailed instructions on how to change it yourself... The graciousness of a FIxYa rating would be greatly appreciated.

1999 Celica Recommended Maintenance

They are not taking him for a ride. 2000 model year and back timing belt replacement intervals are recommended every 60,000 miles. 2001 & up is reocmmended every 90,000 miles.
Yes, the car will be running good, but, the timing belt does get weak over time, and can break or "jump time" (jump a tooth or 2), at any given moment, with NO warning.
Yes, do get the belt changed.
BUT: 800.00 is a lot of money. TOO much money, IMHO.
The flat rate on that engine is 4.0 hrs. At my labour rate here, That equates to $280.00 plus a $50.00 belt. I get roughly $350/Celica belt replaced total; w/o a water pump upsell.
$800.00? Exhorbitant. Looks like the shop is charging you $185.00/hr. Find another shop.
That price is not robbery, it is rape.
