SOURCE: I have a code PO 442, PO 455 in my 2003 dodge

The p0442 is a moderate leak in the EVAP control system and p0455 is a large leak in the EVAP control system. First thing is to ensure that your filler cap is on tight and that the seal is effective. Next is to check the tubing of the EVAP system for any holes or disconnections. The P1404 is the valve in your EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) is staying closed. It could also be that the EGR piping is clogged up with soot (baked carbon deposits). Similarly the p0404 is an EGR related error code. Your vehicle is quite new and it would be unusual for the EGR to pack up or require cleaning out so early in its life. I would make sure that the connector pins in the connection socket to the EGR are clean and bright and that there no breaks in the wiring back to the power control module. If no joy then remove the EGR and examine the freedom of movement of the valve. If gummed up spray liberally with carburettor cleaner spray and leave to stand for at least ten minutes before wiping away the crud. Repeat until the valve looks like new and reinstall. After four or five restarts without fault the error code should clear.

My 2005 dodge neon's battery won't hold a charge, lights flicker and dim and on the dashboard the word fuse flashes, what is going on?

Could be a bad battery but I suspect your battery cable is either loose or corroded or dirty. Before you pull the battery disconnect your battery cables and clean them both ends and when you put them back on make sure you have good connections and tighten good.If that does not work pull your battery and get it tested at a battery out let . they should do that for free.

This morning I started my 2003 dodge neon and it was running fine until I left for work. It started sputtering and while driving it was shaking. When I stop or brake it sputters as if it is trying to

First, check the vacum hoses at the airfilter boxand in back of fire wall for leaks.,then cycle your ignition key 3 times to the start position /off ,if a code is there the computer will show it on your Odometer it will start with a P as (P05052)Example; you have either a vaccum leak or a failed cam sensor. hope this is helpful

Since the battery light was 'on', it seems the vehicle's charging system has failed.
Get the charging rate, and probabley the alternator will need overhauling.
