Went on vacation and sons law used vehicle, used his iphone6 hooked up to the Bluetooth one time and since then the radio has no sound.
Sounds like the stereo is still on I phone mode,is there a source button ?Should be able to scroll through to radio mode with that button, what brand stereo, does it have a cd player? does that work ?
Testimonial: "I agree I think that is the issue. I'm going to see my son-inlaw this weekend and will try to reconnect his phone and then disconnect it. My phone links to the Bluetooth and works fine. I've disconnected it several times, but still no sound volume from the radio. The Bluetooth is a Toyota blulogic, and I can't see any way to scroll through a source button. I'll look again. Thanks so far for your help"
SOURCE: I can't find where the fuse box for the radio for corolla 2006
Pg. 250 of your 2006 Owner's Manual shows the location of the Fuse Boxes. There is one under your hood on the driver's side and the other is under the dash just to the left of steering wheel. Pg 272, will show you how to replace the fuses. Pg. 286-287 gives a diagram and description of each fuse and what part of the electrical system it enables.
I blew a fuse while using my Cigarette lighter/power outlet to inflate my tires. It took out the power to the car stereo, the clock below it, and the two Cigarette lighter/power outlets.
This portion of the electrical system correspondeds to the fuse in position 32 on pg. 287 of the manual.
Your going to have to get on your back with a flashlight and open up the fuse box under the dash by the steering wheel. The lid of the fuse box shows the positions of the fuse and their amperage rating. Like I said, replace the fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp). There is a spare 15 Amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood (easy to get to, see the diagrams in the owner's manual). There is also a fuse puller tool next to the spare fuses.
I hope you would be able to find the radio Fuse.
Any further questions regarding replacement, feel free to contact me.
Thanks for using Fixya.
SOURCE: Audio on radio and bluetooth dissappears.
The bluetooth and radio are located in the radio itself. I would suggest having the radio replaced at you local toyota dealership
SOURCE: I have a 99 Toyota Camry LE that had a radio
U need the VIN number of the vehicle this replacement radio came from.
Take that VIN number to ur nearest Toyota Dealer to obtain a radio code which will be available free of charge.
In case when u dont have the VIN number of the vehicle from which u have this radio, take all other numbers like serial and ref # from back of t he radio and approach the Toyota dealer.
In any case u will get this service free of charge.
Good luck
On the back side of the lighter there is a fusable link between the incoming power wire and the metal tab that connects power to the lighter. This is a very small wire, bent 90 degrees, between two tabs that are mounted on the same small screw. It looks like the incoming power tab and the power to the lighter would be connected, but they are insulated from each other on the screw. If the fusable link is blown, you will have power at the power connector on the back of the lighter, but no power to the center terminal inside the lighter.
