Hi I have a 2005 buick rendezvous 2wd 3.4 we'll I had all the gauges went out on me so I got another cluster off of an 03 model and installed it on the car and everything worked all but the abs and the Trac off lights was on and that annoying dinging sound so I called buick up and told him what I did and he said that it won't work because it's not programed for my car so I took it off and I took the gauge motors off of it and put them into mine and put mine back in the car and now the gauges work but the abs and the Trac off lights are still on but no dinger and both digital displays are lighting up but are not displaying anything somtimes it display a bunch of jiberish could this be a resistor or a loose connection some were? Plz help
Unfortunately there is a specific procedure you need to follow when replacing and IPC as you have done. Once you had installed the NEW cluster the ABS module no longer recognized the configuration and has been locked out. It is essentially an "anti=theft" feature and to prevent certain unsavory people from replacing their cluster to a lower mileage and trading the vehicle in.
In any case, you can try the procedure below, exactly, and see if you can salvage it. Copy it and past it on a word or text document. Good luck.

try changing the headlight switch,I had a similar problem only mine happened after I accidentaly short out when I was replacing the horn pad and for some reason when I replaced the headlight switch the problem went away.

Check the fuse for those items that don't work.

Could be either a failing gauge or a failing sending unit on the fuel pump. Check out this blog post about a similar problem in Trailblazers - http://drspeedometer.com/chevy-trailblazer-fuel-gauge-quit-working-top-2-reasons-why
